As part of your complete workplace essential services program, Aintree can provide regular inspection, cleaning, testing and tube replacement, of emergency and exit lighting.

 

Our 6-monthly and annual procedures are carried out using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure your workplace remains fully compliant with Australian Standards. All test results are accurately recorded and securely managed, giving you complete confidence that your obligations under workplace health and safety legislation are met.

 

In line with the standard, Aintree conducts both 6-monthly discharge tests and annual full inspections of emergency and exit lighting systems. These checks verify battery performance, functionality, and overall reliability, ensuring your workplace is prepared in the event of a power outage.

 

To simplify ongoing compliance, the Australian Standard AS/NZS 2293.1-2018 (Section 4) requires an Emergency Lighting Test Switch to be installed. This allows testing of emergency lights without interrupting power to entire circuits, ensuring workplaces can remain operational during testing.
